Masterworks IV: Joined by a River
The program opens with the subtle and melodic Dawn on the Moscow River by Mussorgsky, colorfully orchestrated by Rimsky-Korsakov. Then, the QCSO continues its tradition of commissioned World Premieres with Michael Abels¡¯ new work inspired by our river journey.

The exhibition considers the issues, history and environment of the polar areas, spanning media, process and subject; from the figural to the abstract, tactile to sound, analog to digital.

The Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Choir joins the Quad City Symphony and Quad City Choral Arts to perform the St. Matthew Passion, a work widely regarded as one of the masterpieces of classical sacred music.
