The Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø chemistry department welcomed visitors of all ages at its annual open house in 2018. Faculty and students performed and explained many different chemistry demonstrations such as explosions and color changes.
Swenson Center open house and exhibit unveiling
The Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center will host an open house and the unveiling of the new permanent exhibit "Swedish Immigration to North America."
Faculty recital: Patricia Weitzel, double bass; composition premieres
Dr. Patricia Weitzel, assistant professor of music, will perform a recital on double bass, premiering four pieces of music written by Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø student composers John Briggs, Douglas Ganster, Joshua Iyer and Gabriel Lance.
Car Club Autocross Event
The Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Car Club will be hosting an all-day Autocross event in conjunction with SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) of the Great River Region.
