All-campus retreat

The annual All-Campus Retreat will take place in a virtual format.There will be two general sessions in the morning as well as a variety of sessions in the afternoon.

Faculty and staff will receive an email with login instructions for all of the sessions via Zoom.

Open registration begins Aug. 17

Here is some information that should help answer your questions during open registration next week, Aug. 17.

Residential Life open house

New students can meet their community advisors at the virtual Residential Life open house.

If you did not receive an invitation by email, you can still sign up.

Virtual information session

Students and families are invited to take part in a virtual information session.

Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø leaders, including the dean of students and the provost, will give updates on plans for reducing the risks related to COVID-19 on the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø campus.

Opening Convocation

Due to the size restrictions for groups, Opening Convocation will not occur this fall in its traditional format in person.

Faculty recital

Janet Stodd, flute; Susan Bawden, bassoon; and Sheila Doak, piano will perform in a virtual faculty recital.

'For Peter Pan on Her 70th Birthday' virtual reading Aug. 21

The Mississippi Bend Players will present a virtual reading of Sarah Ruhl's play, "For Peter Pan on Her 70th Birthday" at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 21.

The Defamation Experience

The Office of the Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host "The Defamation Experience," a courtroom drama that explores issues of race, class, religion, gender, and the law.
