Join us for Transgender Day of Remembrance, an annual observance that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in violence.
International film screening: 'Spirited Away'
This event is part of International Education Week (IEW), a weeklong celebration of global learning, cultural exchange, and international community, hosted by the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (OISSS). Popcorn and drinks will be provided.

Take a break and reset with OSID First Friday: Cozy Reset from 12-3 p.m. The event will feature music, painting, DIY affirmation jars, a ¡°dirty soda¡± bar, and a celebration of Indigenous culture in honor of Native American Heritage Month.

Empen '26 named Lincoln Academy student laureate
Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø senior Ian Empen, a double-major in geography and psychology from Rock Island, was named a student laureate by The Lincoln Academy of Illinois. Student laureates are seniors who have excelled in curricular and extracurricular activities during their college careers.
