Students explore, reflect, even rest during 2025 J-term classes

During January term (J-term), Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø students take a step back from their usual 15-week semester schedule to engage in a month-long period of concentrated, in-depth learning ¡ª in classes on campus or another country.

Vikings football team captain Breyden Smith  ¡¯26 was named an Academic All-American today, bringing Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø¡¯s total to 184 and securing its Top 15 ranking among all U.S. colleges and universities.

Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphonic Band to tour East Coast in March

The Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. James Lambrecht, will tour the East Coast in March. The ensemble will perform in three cities from March 24-28, then conclude with a home concert on April 5.

The Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. James Lambrecht, will tour the East Coast in March, with a performance at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Philadelphia, Penn.

The Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. James Lambrecht, will tour the East Coast in March, with a performance at the The Church of the Epiphany in D.C.

Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphonic Band concert in Baltimore, Md.

Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. James Lambrecht, will tour the East Coast in March, with a performance at Zion Church of the City of Baltimore, Adlersaal (Eagle's Hall). 

Apply for the Geifman Prize by April 6

The annual Geifman Prize in Holocaust Studies is a competition in which students write an essay, research paper, short story, poetry OR make film, photography, theater, artwork in response to the European Holocaust (1933-1945) in which Jews, religious leaders, political activists, LGBTQ, Roma and people with disabilities were targeted.

Study Abroad Fair

CORE and the Office of International and Off-Campus Programs will host an informational fair from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. to promote the faculty-led J-term study abroad programs for the 2026-2027 academic year.
