The Value(s) of Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø as a Lutheran Liberal Arts Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø
Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø will celebrate the inauguration of its ninth president, Andrea Talentino, on Oct. 14-15.
As part of the inauguration celebration, academic sessions on a variety of topics will be presented.
In this session, presenters will discuss why and how Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø has redefined what it means to be Lutheran over the past several decades, and how its institutional vocation and core values (or ¡°faith commitments¡±) continue to lead it to ¡°do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God¡± (Micah 6:8).
Presenters will be Dr. Jason Mahn, director, Presidential Center for Faith and Learning; and Dr. Monica M. Smith, vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion.
