DESCRIPTION:Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø will celebrate the inauguration of its ninth president\, Andrea Talentino\, on Oct. 14-15.\n\nAs part of the inauguration celebration\, academic sessions on a variety of topics will be presented.\n\nIn this session\, presenters will discuss why and how Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø has redefined what it means to be Lutheran over the past several decades\, and how its institutional vocation and core values (or ¡°faith commitments¡±) continue to lead it&nbsp\; to ¡°do justice\, love mercy\, and walk humbly with God¡± (Micah 6:8).\n\nPresenters will be Dr. Jason Mahn\, director\, Presidential Center for Faith and Learning\; and&nbsp\;Dr. Monica M. Smith\, vice president for diversity\, equity and inclusion.\n\nAll academic sessions will be offered in Wallenberg Hall\, Denkmann Memorial Building\; see a complete description of&nbsp\;topics and presenters.\n
