Office of Disability Services guest speaker: Dr. Cathy Webb '05

Dr. Cathy Webb '05, associate professor of communication sciences and disorders, will talk about her experiences in the field as part of the Office of Disability Services guest speakers series.

Dr. Webb is passionate about helping the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø community learn to be a place of belonging for people with disabilities. She uses her lived experiences as a disabled person to educate.

She received a B.A from Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø in communication sciences and disorders, an M.S.  in speech-language pathology from Nazareth Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø of Rochester, N.Y., and a Ph.D. in disability studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
