DESCRIPTION:Jan Weis\, director of accessibility and disability services at Scott Community Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø\, will speak about autism awareness and education.\n\nHer talk is part of Autism Awareness Month programming.\n\nScott Community Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø is one of the three colleges that make up Eastern Iowa Community Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍøs. She serves three campuses for the college in Davenport and Bettendorf\, Iowa.\n\nWeis has been involved in disability services at the college level since 1995.&nbsp\;She has presented on autism education for several organizations\, including the&nbsp\;Autism Society of the Quad Cities\, for ILLOWA AHEAD conferences\, area high schools\,&nbsp\;\ncolleges. Her experience and knowledge help students on the autism spectrum&nbsp\;prepare for college.\n
