These voluntary benefits are administered by The Standard. Enrollment for these voluntary benefits is only at the time of hire, during open enrollment or if you have a qualifying life event. These voluntary benefits are 100% employee paid via payroll deduction, there is no employer contribution toward the premium.
Accident Insurance
This product is for employees who would like insurance designed to cover unexpected expenses that result from all kinds of accidents, even sports-related and household ones, for themselves or their family members. Accident Insurance provides cash benefits to cover things your health insurance doesn't such as deductibles, co-payments, transportation and lodging costs, everyday bills and more. A schedule of benefits is available from the Human Resources Department. Accident Insurance is portable, take your coverage with you and pay the same premium even if you change jobs or retire.

Critical Illness Insurance
This product is for employees who would like insurance that focuses on medical conditions that are most likely to occur for themselves or their family members (example: cancer, coronary artery disease, stroke, permanent blindness, organ failure, etc.). This coverage helps you and your family when illness strikes. Critical Illness Insurance is portable, take your coverage with you and pay the same premium even if you change jobs or retire.

Hospital Indemnity Insurance
Hospital Indemnity Plan through The Standard to provide extra financial protection when you or a covered family member are hospitalized. All employees working 20 hours or more are eligible to participate in this benefit. This plan pays cash benefits directly to you ¡ª not to the hospital ¡ª whenever you¡¯re admitted due to an illness, injury, or childbirth. The money can be used however you need: to cover out-of-pocket medical costs, travel expenses, childcare, or everyday bills while you recover. To qualify, you must be admitted to the hospital for at least 20 hours. No pre-existing condition limitations. Hospital Indemnity Insurance is portable, take your coverage with you and pay the same premium even if you change jobs or retire.
