Impact of the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Prison Education Program

A virtual panel discussion will be held on the social and individual impact of the new Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Prison Education Program.

Panelists will include Dr. Sharon Varallo, Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø professor of communication studies and Violet M. Jaeke Chair of Family Life; Dr. Paul Olsen, professor emeritus of English, and Eric Lindberg, chief investment officer and trustee at the Austin E. Knowlton Foundation.

Registration is required.

Starting in the fall semester of 2021, Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø offered a four-year degree program for incarcerated men at East Moline Correctional Center. The program is entirely funded by the Austin E. Knowlton Foundation.
