Faculty recital: Patricia Weitzel, double bass; composition premieres
Dr. Patricia Weitzel, assistant professor of music, will perform a recital on double bass, premiering four pieces of music written by Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø student composers John Briggs, Douglas Ganster, Joshua Iyer and Gabriel Lance. Audience members will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite piece.
Dr. Weitzel is a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral performer with the Des Moines and Quad City symphonies.
